Privacy notice
Last updated August 2026.
Who is responsible for your data
Maverick Unity, Lagkada 8, Thessaloniki, Greece, is the controller of the personal data described here.
For any question about this notice or about your data, use the contact form or write to the address above. If you prefer, our email address is shown on the contact page.
What we collect and why
If you ask for the Chilled Presentation Playbook, we collect your email address, the date and time of the request, and a record of the consent you gave. We use it to send you the Playbook.
The legal basis is your consent, given by ticking the box on the sign-up form.
If you also opt in to our occasional emails, we use the same address to send new methods, recipes and news about our pieces, at most once a month. This is a separate choice from receiving the Playbook, and you can ask for the Playbook without it.
The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
If you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address and the content of your message, and use them to answer you. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
If you simply read this site, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to collect aggregate figures: pages viewed, approximate country, and referring source. It sets no cookies, stores no persistent identifier, and cannot recognise you across visits or sites. Nothing is linked to you as an individual and we use no advertising trackers. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding which pages are useful.
If you click through to Amazon, the link passes through a page on this site so that the click is counted in the same aggregate way. Nothing about you is recorded, and no information is passed to Amazon beyond the ordinary referring page that any link sends.
Who processes your data
We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. We do use service providers who process data on our behalf, under contract and on our instructions:
- MailerLite, an email marketing platform established in the European Union, stores our subscriber list and delivers our emails.
- Formspree, a form processing service based in the United States, receives contact form submissions and forwards them to us.
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website, delivers it worldwide, and provides the cookieless analytics described above.
- Zoho, which provides our email.
Where a provider is outside the European Economic Area, transfers are made under the safeguards permitted by the GDPR, including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
Subscriber email addresses are kept for as long as you remain subscribed, and for twelve months afterwards, then deleted. If you unsubscribe we retain your address on a suppression list, for the sole purpose of not contacting you again.
Contact form messages are kept for two years, so that we can refer back to previous correspondence.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you and receive a copy.
- Have inaccurate data corrected.
- Have your data deleted.
- Restrict or object to processing.
- Receive your data in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, which we act on immediately. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before you withdrew it.
To exercise any of these, use the contact form. We respond within one month at the outside, usually within two working days.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Greece this is the Hellenic Data Protection Authority, at dpa.gr.
Cookies
We use no advertising or tracking cookies. Analytics are collected without cookies and without a persistent identifier.
Links to Amazon
Some pages link to our products on Amazon. If you follow one and buy, Amazon handles the transaction and your data under its own privacy policy. We receive no personal information about you from Amazon.
Changes
If this notice changes in a way that affects how we use your data, we will say so by email before the change takes effect.
